Our new log in process: what it means for you
Our website login method is changing.
As a valued user of our online dictionary, we wanted to explain our new login method for collinsdictionary.com.
We have implemented a new login process that incorporates advanced security measures and introduces the option of social logins. This change is part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding your personal information and enhancing your user experience.
Key highlights of the new login method:
- Enhanced Security: We have incorporated robust security protocols to provide an added layer of protection for your account. Your login credentials and personal information will be safeguarded to the highest industry standards.
- Social Logins: As part of the upgrade, we are introducing social logins allowing you to sign into your account using your existing Google, Microsoft or Apple credentials. This feature will save you time and streamline the login process, eliminating the need to remember multiple usernames and passwords.
To ensure a smooth transition and to take advantage of the new login features, from 5th October 2023, please follow the steps below:
- Visit our website at https://www.collinsdictionary.com.
- Click on the “Login” button.
- If you want to continue to log in with your email address, note that the first time you log in you will need to select the ‘Forgotten your password’ option to set a new password as your previous password will no longer be active.
- Follow the steps in the email you receive to activate your new account.
- Alternatively, choose the social login option and link your preferred social account.
- Visit your profile page to link any previous word submissions to your new account.
